If Greenspan did that at his will, he is of course guilty. But in reality he must have acted just as instructed. So whoever was at the helm of the FRB, things must have developed exactly the same way.

What kind of creature is this Greenspan who sold his soul?

plato - you should re-visit your theory of the soul and your arguments with the Sophists, who always found loopholes to enable people to swerve their moral obligations, then you should have a real go at Greenspan. The man's writings in the '70s showed him to be aware of the dangers of the kinds of policies the Fed pursued under his chairmanship. As JU says, and as you imply, he was probably serving his masters, who made the decision to use the dollar's reserve currency status to let go of any restraint, to live off the rest of the world and to enrich the bankers in the process.

Nope. USA, after being used to bring third world into the World Bank dollar debt system, it had to be bought down after achievement to bring forth Orwell's tri-polar world under United Nation's governance.

I fear that a world war3 is planned to achieve the UN's stated population reduction policies and to bring them forth as the open dictatorial world government, practicing governance, not democracy, or constitutional republicanism.

'If these shadows remain unaltered by the Future none other of my race' return the Ghost, 'will find him here. What then? If he be like to die, he had better do it, and decrease surplus population.' Scrooge hung his head to hear his own words quoted by the Spirit, and was overcome with penitence abd grief.

'Man,' said the Ghost, 'if man you be in heart, not adamant, forbear that wicked cant until you have discovered what the surplus is, and where it is. Will you decide what men shall live, what men shall die? It may be that, in the sight of Heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor man's child. O God! to hear the insect on the leaf pronouncing on the too much life among his hungry brothers in the dust.

Icarus. The wealth was payoffs for those who worked the system. The real agenda is control. And the controllers care about real assets, not money.

How the EU Carved Up Britain To Eliminate Their Sovereignty

David Noakes a Brit and avid anti-EU activist laments: "Behind our backs the EU has divided up Britain into 5 regions that overlay the 12 already established. They are called Transnational regions, often referred to as cross-border. The plan is to unite us with areas on the Continent, ignoring the seas in between, and to render each side identical to eliminate all feelings of national loyalties. During Germany’s EU Presidency, starting in January [20]07, cartographers will begin to “harmonise” all “spatial data” such as place names of areas, regions, localities, cities, suburbs, towns or settlements etc. A current EU directive proposes a database for an EU wide property tax via the Valuation Office Agency, to levy Council and Inheritance Taxes."(3)

"ArcManche - First to be established in the South East Prominent is the South East that has an Arc Manche Region which sprawls across west Belgium, Northern France, Nantes, etc. linking Plymouth, Bristol, London and Dover. All within that area now live in the Arc Manche Region of Europe. Paris is its Capital; it has a Regional Assembly a Secretariat, a French President M. Alain le Vern (elected on the 17th Oct [20]06) and an English Vice Chairman Brad Watson OBE."(3)

It would seem that France has just annexed Britain since Paris will be the capital and the 'Arc Manche' is headed by a Frenchman. Thus France has taken over British sovereign soil with the stroke of a pen. It is a feat that used to be accomplished only by war. Don't you wonder how the Brits feel about the 'peaceful' takeover of their sovereign land that many died to preserve for the British people, only to see it handed over to the French?

now there's weird

Orwell's distopia is impossible considering how many resource it takes to govern such a totalitarian regime. Its also why the socialists failed.

p4c is right in that money is not the aim, the aim is what is really valuable. The meaning of money can be manipulated to such an extent that it becomes a side issue. Who cares if there is a housing crash, after all, if you own your house outright and you are living in it??

Have to admit, it would have taken guts for this guy to admit this a while ago; right now his apology is rather obvious and is his only recourse really.
