Yeah, it's a real Death of a Sales Man moment. Pity Marilyn isn't still around, her skirt would have sorted it all.

Oh I see! Inflation is coming down so IRs will follow.

GB : 'I think over the world, you will see people responding to this lower inflation.'

Yes mate, they'll probably want to string you up.

The man who sunk the Titanic stands on the bridge bragging about his special rudder design. "More people should build ships like mine - see how even an iceberg collision hasn't sunk us!"

Very embarrassing indeed.

Denial and an egotestical[sic] control freak - what a great combination - if it wasnt so serious it really would be funny. VC had a bit of a go on Ch4 news. Gordy you can fool some of the people some of the time but not.......the sad thing is since we have been so indoctrinated by the level of economic and political analysis extolled by page 3 girls of the Sun, maybe he can fool (virtually) all of the people all of the time!

He does not fool us lot on here - we are wise to his "mirage" economy - no doubt he will soon be flying off with his underpants over his trousers to save Hungary which will be the next economy to collapse after Iceland and Ukraine.

Ironically if we had cross border banking monitored, maybe someone would have stopped the UK housing bubble. Has brown considered this.
