bbc: Hundreds of mill jobs 'at risk'
An Aberdeenshire paper mill employing almost 400 workers is facing closure, it has been announced.
International Paper said its Inverurie plant was "unprofitable and not financially viable".
The company has now started a three-month consultation with its 371 staff at the mill and admitted closure was an option.

It is EVIL that bankers who caused this 'crisis' are bailed out, whilst the productive economy is hammered and left out to dry

They r turning the old Rover site into executive flats and offices. What the freak will the parasites in the new development feed off if OUR productive economy is converted into a con-omy? Foolish peeps think that less cars prevent Fake global warming!

Mill workers do not do the important things in life, like being 'It', appearing on X-Factor or a soap opera, playing football, tennis or golf, singing or being a film starlet. They do bad things that therefore get taxed to the hilt, like graft and producing things that we use every day.
Don't know whether to be sad or angry, or both.

Manufacturing should be first in line for any government bailouts. Shameful government that deserts its working citizens.

Mill workers have no power to hold a gun to the head of the government and scream "systematic risk".
