Actually it is Roubini's plan. All either of them had to do was watch Bloomberg or read RGE monitor!

I bet his plan didnt include keeping lending at 2007 levels, that stroke of brilliance must have come from Crash G and Captain D

Do the paper or any of its readers actually think it was Gordon Brown' idea?
It was bound to be a back-room advisor. I read somewhere it was virtually the same as the Swedish bank plan of the 1990s.

The idea, according to Christine Lagarde, the French Finance Minister on Newsnight on 15th October, was developed at the G4 meeting on 4th October, between Brown, Sarkozy, Merkel and Berlusconi. The idea was then tailored to suit each of the 27 member countries requirements.
Having watched Lagarde in action, I'd much prefer to believe her the a certain Mr G Brown.
