Effect of crash on city "workers"

BBC Radio 4: The Crash: A Walk Through The City

City veteran John McLaren visits the Square Mile to meet bankers and headhunters, shopowners and cab drivers, to find out how they are coping with the current economic turmoil and what the future may hold.
More fun stories of bonuses being squandered on Chelsea flats etc that now have to be sold up.

Again, life insurers had better create City worker premium loading, seriously. Anyone waking into the City must be watchful up above, as any object with 150 pounds or more weight falling from say 70 feet can easily kill you.

japanese uncle: Jumpers would be those who lose out big from going against the grain. Losing out as part of the crowd is 'acceptable' (and by that I mean you have a nice excuse). So I don't think there will be very much of that.

Unfortunately I cannot listen to the link at my new workplace - in the city - in a bank - in derivatives... so the game goes on (and I would never jump).
