The FT is reporting 3rd quarter Volvo van orders at 150, down from 42,000 for the prior 12month period. 99.99% order DESTRUCTION! Pegeot also with catastrophic fall. The govt, after conspiring 2 jettison Sterling,were wise to insider trade & drop Rover!

It is hard to see why American property is so cheap in comparison with ours and why people still can't afford a $35,000 mortgage.There is more to the screw-up of the American economy than just the property market,it would appear.

not quite Times online reports "Total truck orders for the quarter fell 55 per cent to 32,072." but it is still a very very bad figure......
