Profit a Gunner
London Evening Standard: How Arsenal scored an own goal on £300m stadium flats
The extra time the Gunners have spent fiddling with the development has pushed sales completions into a period of plunging prices.
Last week the club admitted the chance of scoring the expected profit was fading.
A visit early Monday morning to what is now called Highbury Stadium Square was discouraging.
Lights were burning in just three of the 680 units on the £300 million development.
The vast majority of the pleasant-looking flats, set in a quadrangle around the pitch-turned-square, are clearly empty.
