Nigerian E-mail scam? Nope. It's the Paulson bailout.

LA Times: Nigerian E-mail scam? Nope. It's the Paulson bailout. Seriously.

I am Ministry of the Treasury of the Republic of America. My country has had crisis that has caused the need for large transfer of funds of 800 billion dollars US. If you would assist me in this transfer, it would be most profitable to you.

I've sent them the AIG surprise video as posted on a thread below

I'll let you know what happens, if I can that is.

If we can nationalise Northern Rock, can we not buy the US for a similar amount? It'll put right the wrongs of 1776.

Ha! Not sure why he has to wear disguise! Very scary.

The two interesting things he said, no.1 AIG was one of the insurers of the World Trade Centre, hmm, intresting no2. He reminds us that the media have been banging on about the October surprise.
