BBC: Mortgage approvals 'at new low'
UK mortgage lending by the major banks fell to a record low in August with approvals for house purchases 64% lower than a year ago.

Good. The sooner we have a 50% reduction in prices back to 3 x salary, the sooner we can all get on with some work rather than spending all day on here!
