Yes that was me. Trouble is these German banks have bought US mortgage products. That killed LKB last year too. As far as I know the German housing market has not had these dodgy lending practices, and that is what I was on about.

hmm.. regulation didn't seem to help them out though?
this is because people will always squeeze out the rules to make the returns.
need a more self-balancing system?

The Germans don't have more regulations, just stricter ones 50% deposit. I mean that pretty much kills BTL.
