Reuters: AIG hires law firm to draw up bankruptcy papers: report

American International Group Inc has hired law firm Weil Gotshal to draw up bankruptcy papers, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.
AIG could file for bankruptcy as soon as Wednesday if a financing solution is not reached.

@paul - yes, but I can't see any obvious medium/long term beneficiaries at the moment.

BTW: AIG down approximately 50% at the moment in after-hours trading.
