If anyone is remotely swayed by the ex-chairman of the Fed, then they should read this great criticism of Greenspam:

Yes, Alan Greenspan (pot) calling the kettle black! It's comical if it wasn't so sad!

He sees a bottom in housing when? sometime next year?: "Home prices in the U.S. are likely to start to stabilize or touch bottom sometime in the first half of 2009," -I'm sorry but I can't help a Confused 76 mwaahahahahaa!
I will call a housing bottom when I see prices rising again in the US, and I just can't see it happening in the next 24 months... but then again if homes which go on the block there for 1$ suddendly go for 2$ then it will have been a 100% increase!

On a different topic:

Western "journalists" (read: scribblers) have repeatedly told us that the Russians leveled the Georgian town of Gori. Maybe they were looking for career advancement pleasing their masters. Well this morning I saw the town as it looks this morning from Russian tv crews there: the twon is almost intact! Western Journalists (cnn especially) were reporting (from the comfort of their office in Tiblisi, not moving a finger) that the market and the city square had been leveled! NOT!!! I just saw pictures of the place, just a few smashed windows, and a couple of burned cars, but otherwise all intact.

See for yourselves: http://www.russiatoday.com/en

Great interview with some local old people, too old to care about running away when the Russian troops arrived. They are quite happy the Russians are there, and when asked if the place was bombed they say emphatically no!

Go on Cnn, Fox, BBC, Rai (Italian) and other Western "news" amuse me with more "reports" from your paid clowns!
