"the economic cycle remains as potent, as unpredictable and potentially as destructive as ever". Total rubbish - it was entirely predictable - 18 year boom bust property speculation bubble, no doubt destined to repeat in the future. The sadness is that no politician can bring themselves to admit that it is as simple as this or admit that they are all part of the same greed culture.
