World leader talks Economics
hills blog: Bush on Economy: 'Wall Street Got Drunk'
"There's no question about it," Bush said. "Wall Street got drunk, that's one of the reasons I asked you to turn off the TV cameras. It got drunk and now it's got a hangover. The question is how long will it sober up and not try to do all these fancy financial instruments."

here 'tis
Then, making light of the foreclosure crisis, he said: "And then we got a housing issue... not in Houston, and evidently not in Dallas, because Laura's over there trying to buy a house. [great laughter] I like Crawford but unfortunately after eight years of sacrifice, I am apparently no longer the decision maker."
No one is saying how ABC's Miya Shay got the video or how it emerged. UPDATE: The YouTube version of the video is now axed, but it is easily viewed at ABC site here:

thanks for that malct & s2r1.
I dont like bush, but i do like his analogy, especially as it comes from an ex alcholic.
The only bit that i disagree with is the assumption where at the hangover stage all ready.I reckon we have only just left the nightclub,we are in a unfamiliar city trying to find our way to the hotel.Taxis are refusing to help. What happens next? Will we find our bed to nurse the raging hangover?or end up in a ditch?
all we revealed in 2010/11.

Funny how it's almost a scandal for a president to say what he really thinks.
