With a serial bankrupt in the Whitehouse what was to be expected...

......the already dreadful US housing market would implode if the two government- sponsored enterprises went under. That is why fears of outright failure are misplaced – Washington could not let it happen.

The graph shows both share prices being at roughly 10% of their price at the start of the year.
This is shocking - these are not mining shares based in a banana republic - these are the domestic financial pillars within a world super power.
Man alive - I have been expecting a house price correction for five years; but some of this is a bit seismic.
So with all this chaos - where should the STR's put their deposits?
