The British economy is braced for further turbulence this week as the fallout from the second largest bank failure in US history spreads across the Atlantic.
Guardian: UK braced for US banking backlash
Last week’s extraordinary decision by the US Federal Reserve to take over the Californian bank, Indymac, comes as the Bush administration attempts to quash speculation that America’s two largest mortgage lenders, Fannie May and Freddie Mac, also face nationalisation.

"Fears over the impending collapse of Indymac last week saw a massive run on deposits as frightened customers looked to withdraw cash. Amid chaotic scenes, customers pleaded with staff to be allowed to enter the bank after it shut its doors. One woman leant on the locked doors, pleading with a teller: 'Please, please, I want to take out a portion.' "
Ewww. Panic on the streets.
"Deposits of less than $100,000 are guaranteed."
Wrong thing to say. The biggest depositors will bash the doors in to get their money out.
I'm speechless. This is nasty.

P4AC,
Slightly off topic but have you heard about aspartame
http://www.lovethetruth.com/truth_about_aspartame.htm

Thanks for the link. I heard that aspartame and flouride can reduce IQ by about 20pts. Also, get a good shower filter, and, berkey filters can filter out flouride. Put this in context with the fact that United Nations documents state that 80-90% of the world's population must be destroyed to meet their agenda 21 lies and all that bull they make up about global warming.
For more info, and please support them financially, look at http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/
Run by Major General Albert (Bert) N. Stubblebine III (U.S. Army, Retired). He isn't a kook and should be taken seriously. He ran the U.S. Army’s Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) and ran army operations in Iraq.

P4AC,
Cheers for the info.
What did you think of the monatomic gold video?

I'll have a look at that, thanks, but I've seen enough already, am convinced enough now to feel that all people should put all fiat liquidity into farm land and gold and silver coins from now on in.

P4AC,
Intuition tells me that "monatomic gold" will be the reason for a gold mania that will make gold the bubble to end all bubbles.
The magical properties far outweigh the "store of wealth" properties that is the existing reason to buy.
Maybe this gold bubble will crash in 2011 when people have raised their consciousness to such a level that they no longer require monatomic gold for healing/magical powers.

Maybe he is taken seriously because he doesn't appear to be claiming that the UN wish to destroy 90% of the population.

The general, from his work in overseeing compartmentalised US intelligence operations, is vocal in saying that there is a eugenics program, conservatively 100x larger than the Manhattan Project, designed 2 kill 80-90% of humans.

Look at youtube for his interview's with Alex Jones. Ask yourself, why mercury, formaldehyde in vaccines, depleted uranium, Middle east genocide, mobile phones that double cancer rates, gm potatoes that kill test rats, pesticides, toxic teflon, and on.

p4ac - you're not telling me anything new here. It's just that I believe that it's corporate profit prioritized over public health - same as it's always been.
So I wonder why corporations who rely on the constant growth of their market and actively seek customers, to the point of promoting a cure rather than prevent culture (as Mr Stubblebine acknowledges), would want to decrease that market by 80-90%.
So, given the lack of evidence, I choose the option that makes sense and follows all previous behaviour.
I wonder what your motives are for ignoring this contradiction, or can you explain it?
11. shipbuilder said...
Yet again, you are corrupting the evidence-based and widely held view that corporations only care about increasing profit by introducing this idea that they are part of a conspiracy to wipe out the majority of the world's population.
By doing this you effectively make all people campaigning for corporate responsibility (for example) look like nuts. Reasonable, caring people who may have joined in the voices of discontent are turned off.
You end up actually making the world a worse place by undermining their message.
Of course, i'm sure this doesn't matter to you, just as long as you are 'right'.
