Now! That's What I Call Inflation 70!
MSN: Zimbabwe to introduce $100 bln dollar bank note
Zimbabwe's central bank will introduce new higher-value 100 billion Zimbabwe dollar notes on Monday as part of a desperate fight against spiralling hyperinflation, the bank said.
Zimbabweans are suffering chronic shortages of meat, maize, fuel and other basic commodities due to the collapse of the once prosperous economy, which critics blame on President Robert Mugabe's policies, including his violent seizure of white-owned farms.

Well, there you go -- these folks were happy when they were beating the runners of the 'breadbasket of Africa' to death with wodden clubs, and this is where that got them. The
'tradiational owners' who now run that land can barely scratch their names in the ground with a stick, and they bemoan their lot and appeal to the international community for aid.
Doubtless the willow-souled of the HPC mediators will shrivel before letting such an apt comment get space, eh?

If my quick maths is right, this means that they are seeing roughly the same amount of inflation in one day, as we are in one year..

Their currency must have ceased to have any meaning. Why accept payment in worthless pieces of paper?
