Retail sales in the UK fell 3.9% in June, after they had shown a sudden and unexpected 3.6% record surge in May

Sadly many people still think our problems are "cos of da credit crunch-init". There's going to be spare cash sloshing around for some time yet before the mobile phone,gift,coffee shops exit the high street.
