Is the worst behind us? The short answer is No
MoneyWeek: Is the worst behind us? The short answer is No
'Commodity-led inflation' and 'credit-led deflation' have made investors realise just how bad things are over the past few weeks. But are there any reasons to be positive?

Facts - not open to debate:
- the term "subprime" was common currency on the Bloomberg channel and CNBC in the first few months of 2007.
- On 3rd August 2007, Cramer (yes, I know he's a showman), talked about financial Armageddon taking place (YouTube > Cramer > Bernanke > Wake Up)
- In the last day or so Goldman Sachs said the deterioration in the banking sector was “far worse” than it expected.
Just who exactly are they trying to kid?

Bernanke , as most of you will know, is Chairman of the Fed. He is also a respected economist, and an authority on the Depression of the 1930s. To put it in the vernacular, "he knows the score".
Now look at footage of his speeches to Congress round about August 2007.
Look at the "rabbit in the headlights" eyes.
Listen to the quaver in his voice.
He knows the score all right, and so do his pals.
