Trailed to be down again in June, though not by as much as last month (2.4%)

Weird. Their press office said the MoMs were out on the 30th last week.

Do you think the words
''Oh no look at this, HPC are going to have a field day''.
will be uttered by Fionnuala Earley during the course of business today.

buctootin, the m-o-m figures make for entertaining reading but the y-o-y are the most reliable.
There's pretty much a perfect match between Natifax and Haliwide y-o-y figures for any particular months and the HM Land Reg's figures that come out three months later.
I don't think we'll quite hit y-o-y down 10% for another two months or so (Nationwide down 7% or so since last August!), but it will be fun when it happens

Holding Out
How can you be so organised ?
BTW was that 'UK' Halifax for Thursday - Tentative
Administrator - would be good to have a list like this on seperate page - perhaps with each title changing colour as info is posted on site for that month. or perhaps a link into each one so we can see the previous figures for that indecies at a glance.
Well done for your organisation skills Holding Out, should be an exciting week.
PS You forgot to list
Sunday 6th July:
WD - Allday - Something Big (Mayan Calendar).
WD - World

Wow thanks for that list, holding out! I'm interested in the Housing Equity Withdrawal figures coming out on Wednesday. These will be a good indicator of what the average homeowner thinks of the state of the market. If MEWing is down sharply then consumer spending should drop pretty hard too.

There is alao a whole series of building company reports coming out over the next 2 weeks

str 2007 - if you want to see what data is being released and when on any given week, go to www.forexfactory.com. I presume this is where Holding Out got his list from. A very, very useful site.
