Gordon Brown's last year!!!!!!

Telegraph.co.uk: Gordon Brown's first year

What do you mean you haven't got your street party organised yet? Next Friday will mark the first anniversary of our great leader, Gordon Brown, moving into Number 10 Downing Street. So, if you don't get down to the local shop sharpish, you might well find they have run out of bunting and the like.

Sadly, after the events of recent days and years, savers and investors may be reluctant to break out the party hats and streamers. This week saw Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) analyst Bob Janjuah warn of a global stock market crash within the next three months.

1 Year on.

I have to say as far as his communication skills are concerned I wouldn't even know he existed.
As far as the labour party is concerned they have made a HUGE mistake putting him in.
His rise to PM is soley based on the "miracle economy" with a feel good factor thrown in.

With that falling apart slowly and painfully whats left? Someone who just comes across as a liar everytime he opens his mouth?
Nobody really trusts him and what he says. The problem is he uses the same lines all the time.

As a leader at least Tony Blair seemd like a leader. Brown is a nothing now. I would be suprised if he lasts another full year - very suprised.
Along with his Darling chancellor.

But I want Gordy to stay in power. Isn't he the best bet for maximising house price reductions?

It's not that he is a failure as PM. It's not that with every passing week his claims to steering this country with skill and prudence, as Chancellor, is shown to be just so much spin. It's that he will cling on to power right up to the very last day, sometime in May 2010. The astute politican, seeing that the game is up would bail out now... let the Tories cope with the mess.

Personnally I think it's time we'd tried something different to same old tory/labour ping pong... time for the Lib Dems to have a go.

Vince Cable is the only one who talks sense about the economy.
