Evening Standard: Slump gives City mental health crisis

More City workers are suffering mental health problems because of extreme stress caused by the credit crunch, it was revealed today.
Clinics serving the City are reporting a huge rise in calls from bankers and traders facing the threat of redundancy

Call my cynical, but I believe a person with officially-recognised mental health issues is classed as 'disabled' and therefore becomes a lot harder to fire. Talk about a great way to protect your city job!
