Cut £2m off the price of your London mansion!

Snake: Acacia Place NW8 6AJ

A house in NW London drops from £8.5m to £6.5m... but I thought the super-rich had cash to spare, oil money, rubbish money and all that. Still this house priced at £1.5k / sqft. That's waaaaayyyy too much even for NW8! I bet will sell for less than £4m in 2009

Believe me this mansion will be on the market at around 2 million in a few years time. It must have been around 2M in say 1997.

Most of the properties on the Snake are properties that were just stupidly overpriced in the first place, even by pre-crash standards. I wouldn't read too much into this.

I'm not surprised by these percentages in reductions anymore...yes lots of these are overpriced but we are still looking at properties being reduced by 25% +. Check Property Snake and you'll see what I mean. So these Halifax convessions (after an initial denial) that property will reduce by 9% are a lot of hot air!!!!!!!! ha ha ha 9 per cent been and gone....
