Great to see the media finally turning on themselves - Kirsty et al in the firing line. Even better that it was in the Emmerdale slot so may have caught a few extra viewers who might usually turn this sort of programme off (hear no evil etc and all will be well). The only slight downside is that (occording to the Telegraph) he still makes a small profit. A follow up in a year's time when a massive loss is on the cards would be much better - although even the property developer interviewed said that her had seen bankruptcy resulting from one ill judged deal.

The issues surrounding "property porn" are very important and should not be overlooked. These programs were (and probably still are) using terms like profit, portfolio, pension and investment. You automatically associate these terms with "common sense". If "property porn" shows used these terms, they should also have to use terms such as "risk, loss and most importantly tax". I remember watching a show when someone had no idea they would have to pay tax on their profit and that person had watched countless numbers of that show.

Shame they didn't expand on the survey. I wouldn't mind knowing what percentage of the 'experts' thought falls of greater than 20% were likely. Perhaps they thought it was just too scary for pre 9pm watershed.

It will be interesting to see what location they choose. I bet they do not choose a 1 bed flat in Manchester or Leeds!
