Evening Standard/Thisismoney: Property fears grow as house prices dive

The Evening Standard's translating today's wipeout figures this: "The housing market today looked as though it was headed into its biggest crisis since the crash of the early 1990s".
Surely we're already in that crisis!
And it goes cites the approaching blizzard...
"The Nationwide figures follow a blizzard of weak news on the housing market, with everyone from rival lender Halifax to the Bank of England and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors reporting massive falls in mortgage lending and sales."
