Now would you credit it -- British houses priced in Euros?
Bloomberg: Housing Bust Shakes Migration, Sparks Euro Talk: Matthew Lynn
So the economy is going down the pan, and all those nasty foreigners are going back home leaving no one to do the dirty work. But out of the doom and gloom comes the mighty Euro!
Fancify? Perhaps. Or perhaps not...

Sorry -- fancify = fanciful. Fingers slipped. Still, I thought this was interesting, and it's in tune with what I think. It makes a change from those 'the Euro is doomed' articles!

I agree with points 1-3. However point 4 should read: 'employed immigrants shall purchase homes from the next unemployed UK generation' and point 5 should read: 'Euro becomes just a matter of course'.

Italy really was probably the last country able to join on the basis of falsified accounting
What chance does the UK have?

Let's skip the euro and go straight to a world currency, as the NWO want. NOT.

This guy talks some sense, but then shows himself to be a complete idiot - utterly divorced from reality.
There is no, repeat NO, public enthusiasm for the euro, nor is there any prospect of such enthusiasm evolving. The euro is in God's waiting room, waiting for the event, sooner or later, that will put it out of its misery.
No-one who has their finger anywhere near the pulse of UK public sentiment, or indeed that of a sane economist, sees UK euro membership happening...
It will not happen, not today, not tomorrow, not ever, period!
What does it take to get these clowns to understand??
A generation ago we still had Maoist MP's who genuinely still believed their time would come - how DO people get so deluded?

Absolute bloody nonsense. The pound would soar above the Euro if only the BOE raised interest rates!
