New Labour & Gordon Brown's popularity sink to lowest ever
Telegraph: Labour crisis: No way back for Gordon Brown
The latest YouGov poll indicates Labour now has the lowest level support since the Gallup poll in 1943, a few months after El Alamein. Gordon Brown fairs significantly worse with just 15% of the electorate stating they are "satisified" with him in comparison to a massive 75% stating they are "disatisfied".

Yes, but great leaders come back from adversity, dust themselves down and do what they have to do. Gordon is like John Terry, who slipped up in Moscow (a bit like Napoleon really) but came back to lead the nation to victory against the USA....er, did you say 15%?

Yeah right. Labour polled 23% in 1943 and won the bloody khaki election two years later. So what's to stop them polling 23% today and somehow winning in 2010? Oh God that's a depressing thought.
On the bright side, I have it on good authority (from somebody who was just about politically aware at the time) that the Gallup poll of 1943 was based on the researcher chatting to three or four people on the street, he didn't bother asking soldiers abroad (who had more pressing matters on their minds, like not being killed), so there's hope yet.

"15% of the electorate stating they are "satisified" with him" - these people should be arrested immediately having clearly taken copious amounts of illegal drugs.

@ jack c
Please give me those drugs the ones that 15% of the nation are on

@titanic - Ar you implying that you wish to be arrected? Or that you would like an excuse for supporting Crash Gordon?

@4. titaniccaptain - I'm afraid you can't have the drugs - the article should read 15% of those polled by youguv not the electorate - your best bet is to stay off the drugs and remain in a very distinct minority.
