BBC News: Government plan to bail out banks
I couldn't believe what I was reading when I first looked at this article. There cannot be a more blatent disregard to the all the hard working, prudent members of society. What a scandal, this paragraph captures the scam in one...
'the lending programme could open up the Treasury to accusations of creative accounting by opposition parties by limiting the maturity of the bonds to one year, but allowing the lending facility to be in place for three years.'
