Spoken like someone who has no grasp of economics or financial markets and what is happening and going to happen. Your screen name reflects your knowledge even better than I thought:)

One day I hope you will be consistent. Please, just once. Your comments have thus far ignored the US economy i.e. when it is a bad story you suggest our housing is not effected by the US by implication (as you suggest on the one hand that the US can go under and our market is fine).

NOW, you are clearly making the link between the US and our housing market with this story. Problem is, you will break that link when their economy deteriorates even further (as the financial crisis morphs into an economic one that then has them feeding off each other). WHY? Because you mix and match in a scary way.

Ignore the troll. Besides, pretty soon he won't be able to afford the Intenet connection anyway ;-)

The US put out hopeful figures and they get quietly revised down later.

@btl rules

You are on the wrong site mate. I think you should find a site where you can spout your bullish tripe to others, who will be more likely to agree with you.

Your contributions have a definite political leaning, albeit very simple politics, in that you attempt to mock as a way of putting your argument forward and disguise this with simple statements,taken out of context and with very short term implications. Thus with very little real meaning, but with what you envisage as having high impact.
What is strange though, is your persistance in wanting to face complete humiliation time and time again.
