This latest 'news' is from Roger Bootle's outfit and we all know what he thinks on this subject! Good headline though.

I have a detached house that is totally overvalued. I can take a drop of 80% no problem. I know that prices will drop by 60% at least. Lets get some sanity back. Bring it on baby.

That "Fools" guys or girl, or guy who thinks he's a girl or girl that thinks she's a guy.... sounds a lot like a B.T.L who has been or is about to be SCREWED by the up 'n' coming HPC. They sound so bitter and sarcastic about their fate.

Whether prices go up or down someone "wins", its about time homes were affordable to all. If they have to crash then so be it.

you sound pretty screwed up man!! I love this statement 'its about time homes were affordable to all' A bit like Blair, who reckons he bombed Iraq for the good of humanity! Stop being in denial, if you want to profit from a drop in house prices just say so, no ones gonna hold it against you!

This is being over egged. Only BTL will experience such a crash. Other bailed out ages ago and will benefit from
Falling rent and falling prices.

Loved that comment from the BTL landlord in Norwich who said that his outgoings were already higher then his rental income but he was relaxed about that because of the price rises of the last two years...

Some people just don't see it coming !!!!
