Should we worry about inflation after all?
MoneyWeek: Inflation: don't worry too much

There are some parallels with the oil crisis in the 1970s. Although oil prices fed through into price inflation generally, the most obvious impact was on motoring. In the short term people travelled a bit less, and they started buying smaller more economical cars. People adjusted to the new conditions fairly easily really (but unfortunately the motor industry didn't).
