Same paper shouting about house prices this morning?

Daily Express: FOOD PRICE RISES ARE BIGGEST EVER

FOOD prices are soaring at their fastest rate since records began, threatening fresh misery for millions of hard-pressed families.

No doubt that supports their earlier theory on house prices 'rallying'.

Oh well, we can all remortgage as house prices are on the rise again and borrow the money for that loaf of bread we have always wanted. There, problem solved.

Remortgage, further advance, equity release, sale and rent back - no worries get that Tesco trolley filled up, buy now before prices rise again.

This is all very biased. You haven't included the drop in the price of flat screen TVs.

This is the same paper that is forever begging for interest rate cuts - and they don't see the connection.

It does not matter. Home owners can use the shock £1,000 they made last month to pay for the higher cost of living:)

Of course, that will require more equity withdrawel (read as rise in debt stock) rather than paying for things with their incomes.
