Thankgoodness all of our UK BTL subprime are in it for the long term, eh? Otherwise the possibility of this kind of event happening in UK would really frighten me.

Ah yes, but here we have high immigration. Immigration is unheard of in California!
Also we have a strong economy. California is one of the poorest states in the US.
Let's not forget our high divorce rate. Californians are renowned for their strong marriages.
I could go on...
