Histroy tells that in this phase of the financial turmoil, there is no point of becoming exhalted and depressed by each and every turn in the market.
Que sera sera. One thing is certain. The upheaval is profoundly structural this time round. The market is quite likely to hit the bottom in, say three years. Meanwhile a combination of slump and rally after another, with each peak constantly lowering.

Quite right JU, although I feel it will take less than 3 years. Also at each rollecoaster ride expect to see more public money and bank printing presses work overtime as more "temporary" liquidity is fed into the banks' debt chasm. Of course this temporary staving off of the demise of the City speculators will have very real repercussions on the real everyday economy of you and I. But who cares - we are only plebs, or cannon fodder (as someone famous once said... who was it? I can't remember... anybody help me?)
