Rising housing costs forced more than a million householders to use a credit card to pay their mortgage or rent over the past 12 months, a poll for the housing charity Shelter reveals today.

I think most of these people making credit card payment to collect points for they money they are using through credit card and banks are not charging them anything extra for paying rent with credit card
