The Big Issue from No 10! (Perhaps he has run out money and cannot pay the mortgage!)

10 Downing Street: The Big Issues

This web site sets out the governments "big issues". Quote: "This is where to find in-depth coverage of the main policy areas currently being addressed by Gordon Brown and the Government". Interestingly the economy is not mentioned! Where has Gordon been the last 6 months?

Crash Gordon is now famous for being arrogantly disengaged from the realities of living in the UK.

Gordon handed the running of the economy to Mr Darling and also has an independent BOE - the idea is that they carry the blame when the quarter on quarter growth figures go into reverese.

Greasy Pole climbers are always 'arrogantly disengaged' and are generally disingenuous which just about sums up Gordon Brown, his predecessor and New Labour in general as well as most politicians these days.

Dictionary definition of Disingenuous:-

Not straightforward or candid; insincere or calculating: “an ambitious, disingenuous, philistine, and hypocritical operator, who … exemplified … the most disagreeable traits of his time” (David Cannadine)

Sums it all up really.
