23 second clip - End of Days
BBC: A metaphor for the disaster unfolding
Watch this video carefully and imagine the commentaries from the so-called experts from the last 18 - 24 months.
The small meteorites landing from 16 seconds - 21 seconds make everything look as if it is going to be ok.
You can imagine PM Brown, Captain Darling, Bernanke, Paulson and the rest saying "You see it's ok, most of the city is still there......"
Watch it. It sends shivers down one's spine............

Interesting comparison, but I still think you drink too much coffee, lvmreader - you've been busy all night again. Don't you ever sleep? :-)
By the way, what does lvm stand for?

Wayyyy off-topic, honey.

Great post IVM, even if it's off-topic - but you may just be onto something...

You've got energy, you've got imagination and you've got knowledge. Have you ever thought about writing as a hobby or second career? I reckon you might be quite good at allegory...

@little professor
It is on topic. Very much on topic.

Stop projecting. Enough about your narcotic habits.

I have been waiting for the inevitable Asian and Australian corrections for a little while. I may not always be in the UK when I am posting. I spent almost half of the last 2 years in Asia, so I follow Asian hours fo the most part.

This is getting a bit silly now.

I do write. I write fact. I have well regarded journalists confirming my predictions.
I have written some papers for thinktanks. I write guides on certain aspects of economics (credit contagion specifically). And I have given seminars to the teaching faculty of a university as recently as December.
But thank you all the same for the "compliment". Truth is stranger and far more interesting than fiction in many cases in the last 2 years.

lvmreader, get out of your basement, remove your radiowave-proof foil hat and exchange your german army surplus stuff for some nice slacks.

@paul,
More projection. Tell me, have I not been proved correct in most of what I have posted?
Perhaps, if you believe I do wear German army surplus and tinfoil, you should do the same. I travel a fair bit more than the average investment banker.

Knew it.

I'm not surprised that you already write, but please don't dismiss writing "fiction". CS Lewis wrote several non-fiction books, but he is best remembered for his "Narnia" series which actually contains a lot of theological ideas. If you want to reach a wide audience then popular fiction containing your ideas is a possible way to go.

I hope you didn't think I was making fun of you re: the writing. I genuinely thought you would probably be quite good at it. Honest! :-)
