BBC: Exit delay for property investors

A rush to withdraw money from its commercial property funds has forced Scottish Equitable to introduce delays of up to 12 months for its customers.

People having their economic freedoms curtailed by this kind of exit blocking should really be made illegal.

if this starts a panic across all property funds
you will see a massive increase in comercial and residential property hitting the market and auctions
with loads going unsold sending prices in to freefall
