Yahoo: Pay deals hit 15-year high
As PM Gordon states we have no inflation.... I am sure he must have his toes and fingers crossed when saying stuff like that on TV

Teachers are voting on strike action as they want wage increase in line with RPI.Good on them. I think the Police have totally missed the point. They are making noises over the fact that there pay rise was staggered, but surely the real issue should have been that there combined pay award was so much lower than RPI.

HPC will quickly solve the problems as far as FTBs are concerned, as their house-related expense will halve.

"HPC will quickly solve the problems as far as FTBs are concerned, as their house-related expense will halve." Haven't wages also been artificially high due to hpi ?

Withoiut HPI, and the lunatic financial bonys with spillover effect on fringe sectors, salary standard in UK should have been 20% lower than now.

I agree, the pay requests are only in line with real inflation...
Anyone see that programme about Asians in the UK on Wednesday? The sounds of London Calling by the Clash and the streets awash with rubbish etc. takes me back. Could this happen again? If this does it will be all due to Brown and his policy on trying to hide price rises (including house price rises) behind a ludicrously low CPI !!

I guess inflation will bring equilibrium in the long term.
