HP inflation??

MSN Money: House prices continue to drop

'Annual house price inflation has fallen to its lowest rate for two years after the cost of property fell for the third month in a row.'

When oh when will they start saying house price DEFLATION!!?? Thereby fully admitting the truth.

On the BBC London news last night they had a news head: "London high price inflation out-performs the rest of the UK"

And then went on the announce prices had risen 3.6% over the last two years, as if it was a big deal.

They didn't say where they had got that figure from but surely even the BBC can work out that's lower than inflation - and way lower than a high-interest bank account.

Well call me the village idiot but it is 2008 i think and house prices have gone down "THIS YEAR " all areas.

So annual house price inflation this year is - well zero in my book or Minus.
