Silly 'boom' will just bring about livers as bloated as foie gras after all these wasteful years. The first casualty of the HPC will be the restaurants specializing in these silly menu, detached from the real world.

Easy come, easy go. For the time being.

It's a nice place, they did working class meals at lunchtime for around £17 when I was in the area. If you go round the corner, skate & chips in paper will cost you £6.95.
A great advert - they made national press and TV last night !

Easy money becomes devalued after a while,so psychologically, they need to pay more,to feel its all worthwhile.Deep down they are coming to the conclusion their lives are empty.

These guys are so unimaginative. They make all that money and all they can think to spend it on is an overpriced steak dinner! They should give it to me, I'd have much more fun.

The menu is worth the money.. and they can afford it.. So, fair play!

Good on them - if they can afford it, or feel like they can afford it, then why not.
Not for me to begrudge them their wealth. And as for the restaurant - great marketing - and if there is a demand, why not satisfy it. Having said that - excess like this always precipitates a slump. The last throes of a crumbling beast.
