there was only one safe bet on Friday, so I put a wodge of virtual money into Northern Rock.
Its a shame its only a fantasy share game, because the shares jumped 30%.
Everyone else of course is tanking, along with the FTSE.
Bullbearings.co.uk - its a good way to keep track of the FTSE if you are not actually playing the market for real.

if this continues there will definitely be a recession
