Landlords undaunted apparently

FT.com: Buy-to-let landlords in upbeat mood

Most buy-to-let landlords plan to increase their property portfolios or leave them untouched in 2008, according to a new study.

Landlords seem to be undaunted by worries about the slowing housing market, with 86 per cent planning to increase their property portfolios or leave them untouched over the next six months. The study also finds that the average portfolio stands at 6.1 properties, up from an average of 5.7 just six months ago.
