Mortgage Solutions: Small properties on market increase
The number of small properties on the market since November 22 has increased by 39% as sellers have rushed to meet today’s home information pack (HIP)deadline.

HIPS are so hip right now. Absolutely everyone should have one, daahling.

IF and it is a big if HIPS were put together properly then in every sale I have been involved in a HIP would have been a good idea and would have speeded things up. The property industry dont like them as they will have to absorb the cost of them in order to encourage speculative sellers. All agents will offer them free soon. Solicitors are against them as they suspect, with some justification I might add, that they will not be put together properly.

NO everyone is rushing to sell their flat because its losing £1000 per month in value for the last 3 months not because they want to avoid £350. But its nice to have any excuse other then saying "prices are going down and people are rushing to sell...." because that doesnt sound very nice for them.
Please let me find one person whos only reason for selling a flat is to avoid HIPS.
