Times: Why bother buying?
Why waste your cash on buying a property when you could rent instead and splash out on frocks and handbags?

Personally, I would rather spend the excess money on caring for my family, but then I can't picture my offspring showing the lack of care which Daisy describes.

She's comparing a £750,000 house purchase with £30,000 annual rent on the same property. Yes, that's £30,000 rent per year. What planet is she living on?!
