Pauline Hanson, ...give me strength. Ah yes, the fabled Australian way of life. Someone please remind what that is (as I rip another scab off a tinny, and chuck another prawn on the barby).

Harold,
You like female genital mutilation do you?
Get off on young children being forcably cut and growing up with no pleasure organs?
Well, that's what the Sudanese do to their young.
Not exactly compatible with civil society.
Go do some travelling before you show your ignorance you Guardian reading Pr1ck.

Why not? After all, we are all bleating about over-priced property and affordable housing while allowing 200,000 foreigners in a year. The only reason this figure is not 500,000 is because of the number of Brits leaving for a better life elsewhere. One that includes a house perhaps.

Stillthinking, can you see the hypocrisy in your statement? The 'Brits leaving for a better life elsewhere' ARE the foreigners in someone else's eyes. Of course, it's not like us Brits to think 'one rule for us', is it?

Plus the fact that thanks to the wobble in the age distribution - i.e. all of those baby boomers who are expecting the next generation to look after them, even though there is 'less' of the next generation - we actually NEED these immigrants to stop the countries economics from going down the pan. You cannot look after a million pensioners on the back the tax from 50 workers. We must have a better balance and the only way to do that is to either cull OAPs (like with cows during foot and mouth) or encourage immigration.
As for Australia, when they say they want to protect the Australian way of life, they are talking about the racist way of life. I lived their for a year, and didn't find it a particularly nice place precisely because I found quite a high proportion to be ignorant and racist.
