Its latest survey says UK house prices in September generally fell again, with more of its members reporting a fall in prices locally than an increase.

My wife was watching this being discussed on the BBC this morning. It amused us that RICS seem to be blaming the impending problems in the housing market on interest rates, HIPS, volatility in financial markets, etc. Blaming it on just about everything except the fact that the house prices are just too bloody high.
