Price to stagnate?

Guardian: Property prices not immune to disaster

"Demand is only meaningful if it is backed up by readiness and ability to purchase. I would quite like a townhouse in Belgravia, but that does not constitute demand, because I'm not rich enough. Even if I were able to buy, I might be less willing, since the prospect of making a large gain has receded."

Excellent point confused76. This is also why the Poles and Lithuanians cannot prop up demand as they could not get a mortgage on a garage, or a parking space for that matter. With more jobs going to Poland, why do they keep coming here?
