Plenty of similar properties popping up in my local area - such as this link. It looks like the BTL big guns are ignoring ARLA propaganda about "being in it for the long term" and running for the exits ..... don't panic Mr Mannering!

I was in Cardiff yesterday. There's much cheaper than that around, and most of the prices in the estate agent windows had been adjusted downwards.

Read somewhere that new build flats in Cardiff docklands - lots of btl - are beginning to suffer the same fate as those in the Midlands and North of England. Does anyone know what is happening to family homes in the suburbs of these cities

Plenty of flats in Cardiff Bay - mostly btl. Many on the market and not selling. Will not be long before prices fall. Any news of London Docklands?

I'm from Cardiff, as I've said before. Llandaff North isn't the best of areas and you can rent 3 bed terrace house for about £525pcm and a large double flat for around £500 pcm, rents have been static for over eight years now and there is a huge over-supply of flats siting empty - not a good BTL investment.
Cardiff docklands is where a lot of people are now renting, but still huge huge over-supply, empty blocks of flats - in my opinion it is the slum of the future. No local community at all, you can't go anywhere without using a car, very high crime-rate - security guards protecting your car at night is the norm.

Sorry guys, I don't think I was able to convey my pun.
No way a 2 bedroom flat is worth 2 million and that also Cardiff.
