U.S. housebuilder posts record loss

One of the largest house builders in the U.S. records their highest loss in the 53-year history of the company, as U.S. home prices declined at the fastest rate in 16 years. Can it get any worse?

Mark, It was posted at 8.44pm.
The Fed is coming to the aid of Lennar. Reuters reports at lunchtime that 66% of economists polled expected a rate cut of 0.25% next time round.
